"Italian artist Sara Pichelli, who was integral in designing the new Spider-Man's look, says, 'Maybe sooner or later a black or gay — or both — hero will be considered something absolutely normal.'"

"In a post defending herself yesterday, Geller—who has called Obama 'President Jihad' and claimed that Arab language classes are a plot to subvert the United States—reached a new low. Geller justifies Breivik’s attack on the Norwegian Labour Party summer youth camp because she says the camp is part of an anti-Israel iindoctrination training center.' She says the victims would have grown up to become 'future leaders of the party responsible for flooding Norway with Muslims who refuse to assimilate, who commit major violence against Norwegian natives including violent gang rapes, with impunity, and who live on the dole.' "To get her point across, Geller posts a picture of the youth camp children Breivik targeted. The picture was taken on the Utøya island camp about 24 hours before Breivik killed over 30 children, so it is likely Geller is mocking many of the victims. Under the picture, Geller writes: 'Note the faces which are more MIddle [sic] Eastern or mixed than pure Norwegian.'”

"Appearing on the Caplis and Silverman radio show last Friday, Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) said, “Now I don’t even want to have to be associated with [Obama], it’s like touching a tar baby and you’re stuck, you’re part of the problem now. You can’t get away.” The term “tar baby” is often considered a slur towards African Americans. Indeed, the term has such a derogatory history that the Oxford American dictionary revamped its definition to reflect the word’s racial undertones. If Lamborn wishes to cross-check, he should ask both then-Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) — both of whom caught controversy for uttering the distasteful phrase."

Forewarned is forearmed.–AJP "'The Response' has generated a squall of controversy, much of it centered around Fischer, the AFA’s Director of Analysis for Government and Public Policy. Fischer is perhaps best known for warning the people of America that President Obama 'wants to give the entire land mass of the United States of America back to the Indians. He wants Indian tribes to be our new overlords.' But it was Fischer’s article 'Native Americans Morally Disqualified Themselves from the Land' published last winter that has generated the harshest criticism for its blatant racism against the Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island."

"Many of today’s uncontacted Indians are descended from the survivors of the rubber boom atrocities, who fled into remote headwaters to escape the killings, torture and epidemics that decimated the indigenous population. "After receiving the photographs of her ancestors, Fany told Survival, ‘Every nation did its bit to exterminate indigenous people: Colombia neglected them; Peru was mastermind and accomplice to the holocaust; England financed it, and Brazil uprooted Indians to work on the rubber plantations.’"

"In the past 70 or so years, the character Captain America hasn't changed much; he was a propaganda tool in the 40s and continues to be one today. Can't we cope with our history? Isn't it a good thing that we have been working hard to eradicate the wrongs we see in our society? Why is it that we insist on sweeping our shortcomings as a nation under the rug?"
