I used to watch The Newlywed Game years ago. There’s an episode that stands out because one of the husbands was so OVER THE TOP that I couldn’t help but notice. The guy’s name was “Blackie.” Years later I learned that he was an actor and also the father or the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Anthony Kiedis. I also remember another husband/contestant who turned out to be “C”-list actor named Taylor Negron. So if gameshows can be scripted why not talk shows?
That’s entertainment, I guess.

They broke in to his house at 4am. They beat the hell out of his 19 yr old stepson to where he is now having to be fed through a tube at a nursing home. And somehow the father is in the wrong for shooting these guys? And the prosecution is racist for charging this guy for the deaths of his friends?

The murder charge should dropped since accused did not kill his accomplices. However, he should be charged with attempted murder since he participated in the crime where a baseball bat was taken to the head of the 19-year-old. A baseball swung at the head is all about murderous intent.

I agree with Brad. Our justice system has alot of racial cracks but I don’t think this is one of them.
The mother claimed that her son was just trying to “buy” marijuana from the family. Uhhhm then why is their son-in-law suffering from brain damage and eating through a tube? Any self respecting man would do anything he could to protect his family from such a vicious attack.
If that is an actual law I feel this situation is a proper institution of it.

That said, I don’t agree with the murder charge. It’s inappropriate since he did not actually kill anyone.

These three young men viciously attacked a man’s son-in-law leading him to defend his family by means of force. This force resullted in death so by the law, the intruder should be charged with murder.
You can debate the rationale of the law but in the end, it is the law and I don’t think race played any part in it.
