Ten Things To Do Instead of Buying The Kanye/50 CDs

by Carmen Van Kerckhove

It’s been a week since the Kanye and 50 Cent albums dropped. Whose did you buy? OMGOMGOMG it was the most momentous, most awesomest day in the history of the music industry!

Well, hopefully you took Jay Smooth’s advice and instead, supported one of these 10 causes instead of lining the pockets of millionaires. :)

That was all right, but I dont see why Kanye’s and 50’s album releases was used as a launching pad for this. Even though the causes were noble why hate on the artist? Most of the people who buy there albums don’t strike me as the type to run and join a cause so I doubt that they are listening. And the ones that are more opened to the world im sure do the 10 things and buy the albums. I believe in those causes but when people frame it like that it comes off as some ol self righteous B.S., and no one wants to listen. And betwwen t.v. and the internet you can kill all that noise about reading a book. Hell even the colleges are experimenting with e-books.

I bought Kanye’s. I am glad I did. If you really really listen to the guy he is pretty deep. He is a master at musical composition in rap. I don’t normally play the videos.
I am glad I did not based on the other poster’s comments.
