There’s also a “costume” Matt Damon dons as a disguise that looks like a stereotypical hook nose you’d find on anti-Semite propaganda. I blinked a few times when I saw it in the preview, thinking, “Are you kidding me?” There’s even one part where he can’t sip his wine glass because the nose gets in the way, so he has to put his mouth over the flute to drink it.

The “anti-gay” article really isn’t news–it’s assumed to be common knowledge, the way anti-gay rhetoric is prevalent in youth culture (and some media).
I’ll make an educated guess and state that in the U.S., at this point in time, there is more anti-gay sentiment than any other kind of “anti-____” sentiment.

It really bugged me that his response was that “we’re an equal opportunity offender.” So just because you offend everyone, it’s okay? You’ve got to be kidding me!

And then he goes on to compare the character to Chewbacca! Argh!

Also, I didn’t notice how the fake nose Matt Damon sports in the previews resembles the old anti-Semite propaganda until it was pointed out. It makes me wonder what type of undercover character he’s supposed to be playing.
