Way before this blog I mentioned a program that might fit in RIW. I say might because it was an experiment done by a schoolteacher in her classroom. And school is a workplace, right? It’s called A Class Divided. The day after Dr. King was assasinated, Jane Elliott divided her third grade class into a blue-eyed group and a brown-eyed group and had the children experience discrimination.
Nearly 40 years later, I wonder if those kids, now adults, have any lasting impressions?

pretty sure Jane Elliott continues to do her workshops and that includes workplaces. She was in New Scientist last year saying how she still receives death threats so she’s still having an impact. Not sure about the original students.
