Denial in one sense is a powerful form of argument. It is quite clear that the few white people who attend predominantly black churches are more than welcome most of the time. In fact I know of a white person who has been outcast by his conservative neighbors and friends for harboring pretty serious homosexual impulses and who ended up going to a predominantly African-american church. There are many instances where you would find white people worshipping side by side with black folks in black churches. The issue of race is important in these churches only in so far as it is relevant to the Christian ideas of justice, fairness and equality………
On the other hand, history is replete with instances of what happens in “white churches”. Think of the Dutch Reformed Church of South Africa, the Christian Party in the U.S. and the numerous southern churches which were the cogs in the wheel of Slavery. They, in fact, were there to maintain and uphold the status quo of slavery besides tending to the spiritual needs of slave owners…..
It, in one sense, is astonishing when people accuse black churches of segregation and separatism. Who established separate places of worship for black people??

There is no need for Dr. Wright or Senator Obama to apologize for a thing, White and Black conservatives are always saying that black people have no moral values, but the minute a church makes a commitment to that very same community they are called racist, give me a break. If anything, Roger Allies, Faux News and the rest of the racist right- wing machine owes Trinty an apology.
Rush like the ‘Rev’ Jesse “i can’t spell dog if you spotted him the D-O Peterson are hustlers trying to stir trouble and since all Dr. Wright is doing by debating them and Sean “racist’ Hannity is giving Faux News legitimacy it does not deserve. Sen. Obama is correct not to speak to that “news organization”, and Dr. Wright should do the same thing until they get an apology from Allies, the GOP for accusing thechurch of being racist.
