That woman he was talking with, Watts, what was her reaction? Did the camera catch it? I read the excerpted transcript of the broadcast as posted in the link, but get no idea of whether the camera was up on her after the comment.
Good Lord, did she shirk, or wince, or anything? She knows what the conversation is on a day when she has not had a chance to get her hair touched up, why allow for such complicity?
This is one of the main reasons I have to stay away from the Christian Right, they are so wrong on every damn view they hold and are so willing to express. Especially those Black members from Ohio with whom I have had extensive, unfortunate contact.
They can NEVER hear themselves, or you, for that matter.
