This, while being completely legitimate, does even rankle my feathers, and it has to do with the history of bigotry against the idea of African Blackness , but I heard all that in your comment. Just thinking aloud, I guess.
I think the ending of the article, where it holds up to the light this guy’s integrity due to the outright lie, is truly the most disturbing aspect, and for thousands of reasons about what it means he’s capable of doing, unscrupulously.
