If this is true, this is just as hurtful to the cause as those black people who “pull the race card” without warrant. (You know, the ones who get arrested for dealing drugs but want to blame the arrest on racism) Both are equally destructive to the fight against racism.

Yeah firing 50 shots is just like hearing a really good joke. Hilarious! The “contagious shooting” theory is up there with “suicide by police”, an excuse that is used to justify the killing of an individual who supposedly is provoking a policemen. The thing that gets me is that we are supposed to wait for a full investigation before we characterize the shooting as excessive and inappropriate, but the NYPD has wasted no time trying to characterize the victim as a criminal. Did he know that the strip club he was at was a drug and prostitution hotbed under surveillance? Then again aren’t all strip clubs full of illegal activity? The victim’s arrest record was also quickly released but they never specified whether charges were filed. At least Bloomberg has said his piece and labeled the shooting inexplicable in his opinion. That is light years ahead of anything the former mayor and possible presidential candidate (help us all!) would have done.
