how do you divide a class by race and a private citizen has to sue before something is done?
If anyone reads this could you give me an idea of the actual reality in american schools (tough question i know). Is there really a strong divide that kids aren’t mixing with each other and everyone (black, white, hispanic) is happy with unofficial segregation ie there are predominantly black/white schools by virtue of the area they service. Is there any “one” reality of what american schools, and i guess by extension the communities, are really like? I suppose i’m thinking of places in addition to the inner cities where minorities disproportionately get the rough end of the deal. In middle america is there an unofficial divide that all sides seem to be allowing to continue?
