It is one thing to stand up for what you believe, but Ward Connerly’s praise of the Ku Klux Klan has made me lose any respect that I once had for him. That guy is sick.

Does Connerly REALLY think that the KKK believes in equality, and THAT”S why they’re against affirmative action?

Is he really ignorant of the ways in which people have (in the past and currently) quietly and subtly discouraged minorities from certain academic fields and programs?

And does he really think that the Klan wants any ethnic minority to get ahead on merit? We’re mud people who have less merit than the most ill-bred white person, in their mind.
