When I saw this, I was truly thinking WTF? “Church” @ judging? I immediately looked @ Twiggy, she looked so awkward & then Nigel, what the eff was that? Truly? Tyra looked a damn fool.
No, Francis. You hit the nail on the head. It was Tyra being Tyra. Cooning as usual. If she says more than a few good things about the “colored” woman, then it could be considered a black show. You must put the colored women down in order to satisfy the audience…or so it seems…
One of the top reasons why I am not a Trya Bank-On-Coons fan.
Hey but did you guys notice the wierd music they played during the judging of the Indian girl (can’t remember her name)??? You know when they go through their pictures. When it was her turn they started to play this weird “ethnic-y” sounding music.
I believe it was this same episode.
VERY WTF.
WOW. all i have to say is WTf?!, um did she really have to say miss JAPANESE zen like-so basically she thinks all japanese people are zen like?! As for the “south Aisan(sorry if im not spelling it right im kind of tired.)” music playing when a south aisan woman came to the judging panel that is just wrong play normal music for everyone ! EQUALITY!!!!! Sorry if i offend anyone in anyway, i didn’t mean to(hey im partialy japanese so I know what im talking about.) PEACE out!
oh and did you notice on the new episode that (ya i watch it cuz im bored.) the seventeen magazene editor was bitch’n on the coloured women! how DARE she(heheh once again.) EQUALITY!!!!!!!!!!! oh i’d also like to be a writer/contributer here at racilicious.com(if that’s ok.)
by ‘heheh once again I was refering to EQUALITY!!!!!!!!!YAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(sorry if i offended anyone……..though i’m not sure how that’s possible……..after all I just said-EQUALITY!!!!!!!!)
For such, so called enlighten, serious “do-gooders” ya’ll have nothing more to talk about. With all the issues in the would you are concerned with washed up fashion industry having some fun by singing?
And we wonder why racism is a live and well… the people who CLAIM to care about defeating it are wasting time and energy on a reality show about MODELS!
I always assumed that we tend to be harder on people like ourselves, when we are trying not to show favoritism. I thought that’s what Tyra usually does. Plus, didn’t she comment that we [women of color] essentially have to work much much harder to get somewhere, ‘in the industry’, before?
I wasn’t offended by the church ‘holy rollin’ scene. I thought it a waist of time though. Hey, caucasians “get their praise on” like everybody else. Maybe some where offended by the “be heyah no ‘mo” portion of the specticle.
If Tyra did not like something or someone, let it not be a personal attack all she needs t o
do to is say ‘I don’t like it”but, for her to carry on that way, over rejecting this model, was just inappropiate and futher more that “BITCH’ is P.M.S.”N sooooo, watch out.
